What does a typical camp day look like?
While most music camps focus only on the playing aspect of musicianship, here at the
L-Stringz Music Academy we focus on the whole aspect of what it takes to be a musician. The students start their day by learning music theory so they can fully grasp the music given to them within the camp. Following their theory lesson, the students are lead in stretching exercise in order to prepare for playing their instruments. After this, the students are now ready to pick up their violins and begin the play!
The purpose of this camp is not only to develop a musician but an overall leader. This is done by having the students very hands on and interactive during all lessons. Students are even given opportunities to re-teach lessons to their peers as a good wrap up to what was just taught.
When and Where is the camp
This year due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the L-Stringz Violin Camp will now be VIRTUAL! Students will have a morning theory class followed by an afternoon performing class with a group video performance that will be given out at the end of the camp!
